Our product was initially developed in collaboration with Georgetown University and is now widely deployed at educational institutions around the world. ShareStream is growing rapidly and is seeking to add additional exceptional team members, including a Solutions Engineer who can excel at:
- Assisting ShareStream’s sales team in product demonstrations, webinars, implementation proposals and RFP responses
- Acting as the primary technical point-of-contact post-sale for specific accounts
- Assisting clients exceed their expectations for their use of our product
- Leading rollouts of the ShareStream Video Platform for campus-wide media implementations, including providing hands-on training to project leads
- Collaborating with ShareStream’s Product Managers and R&D engineers on documenting client requests for feature enhancements
- Providing client feedback to ShareStream’s leadership and Product Managers
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science
- 3-7 years as a solutions engineer, professional-services engineer or another IT role that involved interactions with customers, preferably for a product or service provided to higher education
- Expert in sales engineering, customer-relationship management (CRM) and client retention
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience in training project leads on enterprise-class software systems
- Experience in creating project plans for new customer implementations
- Experienced in requirement gathering and documenting requests for enhancements for product managers and developers
- Experience in identifying and working on up-sell and cross-sell customer opportunities is a strong plus
- Strong working knowledge of Java and UNIX/Linus skills is a strong plus.
